AI Engineer Intern — Stockbit / Bibit

Stockbit is Indonesia's leading social trading and investment platform with over 5 million users. As an AI Engineer intern on the Data Team, I worked closely with data engineers and ML specialists to build production-ready AI systems. I developed OCR pipelines for KYC automation using Google Cloud Vision API and trained custom models with Google Cloud AutoML to detect fraudulent documents and scam posts. Both products are actively used in production, processing thousands of documents daily.

Highlights

• Worked on the Data Team alongside data engineers and ML specialists to build production AI systems
• Developed OCR pipeline using Google Cloud Vision API to auto-extract user data from Indonesian KTP (ID card) documents for KYC verification
• Trained custom AI models with Google Cloud AutoML to detect fraudulent documents and flag scam/spam posts on the social trading platform
• Both products shipped to production and are actively processing thousands of documents daily
• Increased KYC verification speed by 40% and achieved 95% fraud detection accuracy
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams including security, backend, and product to integrate AI solutions
